Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi has left for Egypt on a two-day visit on the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart.
The Foreign Minister said in a video before his departure that there are plenty of opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries.
He said that he will hold talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Same Hassan Shukri to discuss the entire field of bilateral relations.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi pointed out that Egypt is an important country of Muslim Ummah and is known as the gateway to Africa. He said that promoting trade relations with Africa is a top priority for the government.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs said that during his stay in Egypt, he also intends to visit Jamia Al-Azhar. Our wish is to use their experience in the field of education. He said that he will also meet the business community in Egypt.
