Islamabad: Minister of Foreign Affairs Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, under special instructions from Prime Minister Imran Khan, set off for Turkey on Monday for extensive diplomacy Visit to draw global attention to the rapidly deteriorating situation in Palestine.
The foreign minister will travel to New York with the foreign ministers of Sudan, Palestine and Turkey.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs will also address the emergency meeting of the UN General Assembly to reaffirm Pakistan’s support for the oppressed Palestinians.
The press release stated that Foreign Minister Qureshi will hold important meetings with different key figures during his stay in New York.
He will also talk with local and international media and introduce Pakistan’s position on the situation in Palestine.
