Karachi: On Sunday evening, a fire engulfed three factories in the Karachi Ranchi Export Processing Zone.
According to the details, the cardboard factory in the export processing zone had a fire at 6:00 pm, which quickly spread and engulfed nearby plastic and textile factories.
According to export processing zone officials, the class 3 fire was caused by a short circuit. So far, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
At least 10 9 fire signs and 1 snorkel participated in the fire fighting. Despite the great efforts, the fire was not extinguished because the factory was still filled with plastics and other flammable materials. The firefighters have not yet controlled the situation.
At the same time, the city’s fire hydrants have also taken emergency measures to supply water to the fire brigade. Officials said the damage caused by the fire will be estimated after consultation with the factory owner.
