Lahore: Medical Superintendent of Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital, Dr Ahmed Nadeem on Friday has been suspended over the matter of fake record of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif regarding receiving coronavirus vaccination.
According to a notice issued by the Ministry of Professional Healthcare and Medical Education, Senior Medical Officer Dr. Munir has also been suspended.
On the other hand, a team of four prepared a report on this and submitted it to the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar.
This action was taken after false records showed that Nawaz Sharif, currently in London, received his first dose of coronavirus vaccination at Kot Khawaja Saeed Hospital in Lahore.
Fake records are also uploaded to the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) portal.
According to the entry, Nawaz Sharif had already received the first shot of Sinovac vaccine when he was about to receive the second shot.
