Islamabad: Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz stated that despite the many challenges, Pakistan’s economic indicators are still on a positive track.
Shibli Faraz said in a tweet on Sunday that in the first half of the fiscal year, remittances increased by 27%, while foreign direct investment (FDI) increased by 150%.
He further revealed that cement production increased by 17%, while in November, car sales increased by 68%, and the sales of tractors and motorcycles also increased significantly.
The Minister of Information said that the government is working hard to provide the public with all possible facilities and reduce the price of sugar by 30 rupees, which shows that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to provide relief to the public.
Shibli added that despite the coronavirus pandemic in the country, due to the wise decision of the prime minister, public lives and businesses are still safe.
