Islamabad: Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar (Asad Umar) said on Thursday that as the response to the coronavirus pandemic seems to be fruitful, restaurants and beauty salons will reopen in Pakistan on August 10.
Umar added that the decision to reopen educational institutions will be reviewed on September 7.
In a televised speech, the minister addressed the country as the head of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), which ignored efforts to address the Pakistan coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s a list of dates that various businesses and establishments would be allowed to reopen:
Education: Sept 15, subject to another review meeting on Sept 7
Tourism: Aug 8
Restaurants (dine-in): Aug 10
Cinemas/Theatres: Aug 10
