DG ISPR addresses press conference


RAWALPINDI: Major General Babar Iftikhar, Director General of Interagency Public Relations (ISPR), said on Monday that the death toll has increased with the surge in coronavirus cases during the third wave of coronavirus.

He said at a press conference on Monday that the Pakistan Army, as an emergency responder, will help civil society implement the SOP.

The DG ISPR also provided detailed information on the coronavirus situation in the country, adding that the government has requested the armed forces to assist in the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) for the coronavirus.
