The number of coronavirus infections worldwide has risen to more than 7.4 million, and the pandemic has claimed more than 419,000 lives to date.

The United States ranks first with more than 2 million cases and more than 112,000 deaths, followed by Brazil, with more than 775,000 infections and more than 39,000 deaths.

In Russia, so far, the number of cases in the country has risen to more than 493,000, and more than 6,000 people have died.
