Karachi: The Sindh Provincial Government has allowed outdoor dining in restaurants until 10:00 pm, and has extended the delivery time to 1:00 am in the province.
The notice issued here on Friday stated that the revised schedule will take effect immediately and will remain in effect until January 31, 2020.
With the spread of coronavirus infections on the rise, the federal government banned indoor dining and activities in November on the advice of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), and restricted outdoor gatherings for 300 people. It also enforces the use of masks in public places, closed shrines, movie theaters and theaters, and instructs public and private offices to adopt a work-from-home policy and requires an occupancy rate of 50%.
In accordance with NCOC’s decision, the Sindh Provincial Government issued a notice instructing the market and business center to remain open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays and to remain closed on weekends. After the Karachi businessmen protested, the deadline was revised to 8:00 pm.
Only basic services are allowed on weekends, and outdoor activities are limited to 200 people, and closed captioning and buffets are prohibited. At the wedding, food must be supplied in subcontracts, and the function must end at 9:00 pm.
