Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has confirmed 473 new coronavirus cases in the province within 24 hours while nine more people lost their lives while fighting novel coronavirus.
In his statement about coronavirus situation in Sindh, Murad Ali Shah said that over 11,000 tests for deadly coronavirus were conducted out of which 473 came out positive taking the provincial tally COVID-19 cases in Sindh to 145,238.
Murad Ali Shah informed that as the death toll increased by 9 people, the number of casualties caused by COVID-19 jumped to 2,026, and 4,072 coronavirus patients are currently being treated.
Murad Ali Shah said that there are 165 patients whose condition is critical, while 28 patients use ventilators. He also called on people to take preventive measures to stop the spread of the new coronavirus.
