LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 17 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 285,921. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,129.
According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 730 people have tested positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours.
In terms of cases, Sindh is still the province most affected by the pandemic, followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
So far, in Sindh province, 94,715 in Mumbai, 34,859 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,296 in Islamabad, 11956 in Luchi, 2157 in Azad Kashmir, 2157 in Azad Kashmir and 2157 and Nigel Baltistan’s 2382 confirmed 124556 cases of coronavirus.
In addition, 2290 people died in the epidemic: Sindh, 2177 in Punjab, 1,235 in Queensland, 138 in Balochistan, 172 in Islamabad, 58 in GB and 59 in Azad Kashmir.
Pakistan has so far conducted 2,186,442 coronavirus tests and 20,631 tests in the past 24 hours. The country has recovered 263,193 coronavirus patients, while 785 are in critical condition.
