Official data confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused at least 100 deaths in Pakistan.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said in the video message that the province has reported 66 new known cases, including four deaths. The total number of known cases is 1,518.
He said that 35 people have died in Sindh so far.
He said that 671 people were quarantined at home, 58 people were quarantined and another 227 were treated in different hospitals.
On the other hand, Punjab has reported 2,826 cases to date and 24 deaths have been reported.
COVID-19 was diagnosed in at least 977 Tablighi Jamaat members in the province.
So far, Islamabad has reported 1 death, 35 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, 2 people in Baluchistan Province, and 3 people in Gilgit-Balstanstan.
