LAHORE: Pakistan has reported 21 deaths in last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 281,863. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 6,035.
According to the latest data from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 727 people were tested positive for COVID-19 within 24 hours.
In terms of cases, Sindh is still the province most affected by the pandemic, followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
To date, in Sindh, Simba, 93,847 Punjab, 34,359 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 11,793 in Baluchistan, 15,141 in Islamabad, 2,234 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 2,116 in Azad Kashmir 122,373 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed.
