Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted cold and dry weather in most parts while very cold in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next 24 hours
The Bureau of Meteorology says continental air prevails in most parts of the country. Strong west wind waves may enter Pakistan on Sunday and may cover most of the country on Monday.
According to Met Office, cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during next 24 hours, while very cold in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, north Balochistan, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Dense fog is likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh. Frost is likely to occur in few plain areas of Punjab during morning hours.
At the same time, most parts of the country are generally cold and dry, and in the last 24 hours, the northern part of Balochistan, the northern part, Kashmir and the upper part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been very cold. Leh is still the coldest place in the country-the temperature is 15°C.
