LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the concerned officials to drain out rainwater from low-lying areas following heavy rains in the provincial capital.

Usman Buzdar has ordered the Lahore Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (WASA) and its managers to implement all drainage resources in the shortest possible time.

The Chief Minister instructed all military officers to stay on the scene and implement the drainage plan formulated by the authorities, and warned that carelessness must not be tolerated.

What needs to be mentioned here is that heavy rain has flooded the low-lying areas of Lahore, and the power outage has further increased the difficulties of people’s lives.
