CM Buzdar reduced expenses by Rs550 million in first year: Fayyaz Chohan

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan Tuesday said Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has reduced government expenses by Rs550 million and recovered over nine lac Kanal official land.

The minister said at a press conference that the former government caused a loss of Rs 21 crore for national finances.

“To appoint Shehbaz Sharif’s relatives for safety, more than 2,000 officials have been appointed. He has set up eight camps, but none of them are in Lahore.

Usman Buzdar worked quietly, did not set up camp offices and reduced costs by 60%. He deserves praise like Sher Shah Suri.

“People like Talal Chaudhry, Daniall Aziz and Javed Latif have previously taken over the system. The government of Usman Buzdar has repaid loans in a year worth more than Rs 10 crore, while 35 in the budget Percentage is used in South Punjab and shelters have been built for the poor.

“During his term of office in Buzdar, regional, industrial and special education policies were approved, and construction of 9 universities and 9 hospitals has begun. Langar khanas (Community Commissioner) opened his first company in Punjab.
