Islamabad: China’s coronavirus rescue plane has arrived in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi received aid at Islamabad International Airport and thanked the Chinese government and the people on behalf of the people and the government of Pakistan.
The special flight also brought eight Chinese doctors from coronavirus experts.
These Chinese doctors will be in Pakistan for two weeks and will advise our healthcare providers based on their experience and success in fighting Covid-19 in China.
To date, China’s aid to Pakistan includes 12,000 sets of test tools, 300,000 masks, 10,000 sets of protective clothing and $ 4 million for the establishment of isolated hospitals.
The Xinjiang government also supplied 50,000 masks to the federal capital and provincial government of Sindh.
A large number of donations from private sources in China have also arrived in Pakistan.
Alibaba Foundation and Jack Ma Foundation have donated 50,000 test kits and 50 million masks.
China also supplied two tons of Rs 67 crore of masks, test kits, respirators and medical protective gear through the Khunjerab pass.
Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Xi Jinping, cooperation between Pakistan and China has gained strength and depth.
On the other hand, according to the latest statistics, there are 490 patients with coronavirus in Punjab, 457 in Sindh, 180 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 133 in Baluchistan and Gilgit Bar There are 107 in Stan, 39 in Islamabad and 2 in Azad Kashmir.
So far, 25 patients with coronavirus have recovered and 11 of them have died from the disease. Seven patients were seriously ill.
