Islamabad: Case of religious scholar Maulana Adil’s murder on Tuesday has been registered on the behalf of Station House Officer (SHO) of Shah Faisal Colony police station in Karachi.
According to the details, the case already includes terrorism provisions, and the investigation process has been transferred to the Ministry of Counter-Terrorism.
On October 10, 2020, Maulana Adil and his driver were killed by unidentified armed suspects in Karachi when they stopped at Shama Shopping Center.
The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah and the Chief of Police (IGP) noticed the fire and have instructed the Senior Superintendent (SSP) Korangi to submit an investigation into the matter report.
CM insists that these hooligans are trying to disrupt the security situation in the city. The chief minister vowed to bring the murderer to justice.
The Ullema Committee in Karachi City has threatened that if security personnel fail to arrest Maulana Adil’s murderer within 48 hours, they will go on strike and protest.
The police told the new weapon was used in the assassination of the religious scholar and his driver. Ten suspects related to the case were detained.
