Islamabad: As the coronavirus situation in Pakistan continues to improve, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has resumed all types of flight operations. All operating airlines in the country have been notified.
A notice issued by the Civil Aviation Administration stated that starting at midnight on August 9, all airports will resume international flight operations.
It should be noted that in view of the coronavirus pandemic, Pakistan has suspended all international flights on March 21, and suspended domestic flights on March 26.
Now, domestic round-trip flights will be resumed and international travel will be conducted in accordance with the set guidelines. In addition, international cargo and special flight operations will be resumed in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
Another notice issued by CAA stated that local passengers will be allowed to and from all airports. Prior to this, it was announced yesterday that local flights from all airports in the country will resume at noon on August 6.
