Islamabad: Pakistan People s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday rejected increase in petrol prices and termed it as anti-poor step by the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Bilawal Bhutto condemned this increase. He said that first, the government allowed the accumulation of gasoline by lowering rates, and then benefited the mafia by raising prices.
Bilawal Bhutto said that when the price of fuel fell, the prices of other commodities did not fall, but as the price of gasoline has recently risen, they will rise.
The PPP chairman said that the elected prime minister did not care about ordinary people and their problems, and added that Imran Khan was unable to support the sinking economy due to incompetence and plundering money from the pockets of the poor.
