Islamabad: Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister’s Political Communications, said that the “Parchi” chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) criticized the budget without reading his book.
In response to a statement made by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that previous governments adopted the IMF plan for personal benefit, not for the country.
A statement issued here said that he said that economic experts silenced hypocrites by declaring budgets close to the people.
Dr. Shahbaz Gill said that people from all walks of life are guaranteed and convenient in their budgets.
He said that the additional holding tax and federal excise tax imposed on cooking oil and ghee have been eliminated.
He said that the sales tax for vehicles below 850 CC has been reduced from 17% to 12.5%.
He said that the stock market is hot again today, and the index has risen to 1,000 points since the morning.
