Islamabad: Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister’s Political Communications, called Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s immature politics about the coronavirus a shameful move.
The SAPM took to Twitter and said COVID-19 cases are increasing across the globe. He asked that if Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab are also responsible for surge in positive cases in India, France, Iran, Italy, Brazil, America and Spain.
Dr. Shahbaz Gill questioned the PPP chairman’s role when 40 percent of Pakistan’s cases were being reported in Karachi a few weeks ago.
Let it be known that Bilawal Bhutto, in his statement earlier today, blamed negligence at airports for the recent third wave of coronavirus in the country.
Bilawal Bhutto said that in the face of the surge in coronavirus cases, PPP stood with health workers and emphasized that Prime Minister Imran Khan should understand that unless the coronavirus is controlled, economic activities will not accelerate.
The PPP chairman stated that the government can buy large quantities of coronavirus vaccines, but it only relies on donated jabs instead. He added that Imran Khan will be responsible for every penny of the Corona Relief Fund.
He further said that the Sindh provincial government will do its best to protect people from the coronavirus despite its limited resources.
