Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court retained the verdict on the murder of Imran Farooq on Thursday, which will be announced on June 18, 2020.
According to the details, the FBI has stated that the defendant is a Pakistani and plans to murder in Pakistan and has also purchased air tickets from the country. The FIA asked the court to sentence the defendant to punishment in accordance with land laws.
The agency further stated that all defendants were related to MQM, had specific evidence against the party ’s founder, and asked the court to order the confiscation of Altaf Hussain ’s property. The court stated that it had ordered the confiscation of Altaf ’s property.
The counter-terrorism court retained the judgment in the case, which will be announced on June 18, 2020.
Imran Farooq is a British-Pakistani politician known for his connection to the Muttahida Qaumi movement (MQM). He has lived in London since 1999 and was murdered in September 2010.
