AJK PM directs to provide assistance to Indian firing affectees at LoC

Islamabad: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan instructed all concerned to remain vigilant on Sunday in response to an unfavorable situation fired by India on the control line for no reason.

In a statement, the Prime Minister instructed the National Disaster Management Agency (SDMA) and the district administration to immediately offer India all possible assistance to dismiss affected people and immediately rescue them.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan has further instructed the relevant departments to coordinate with the Northern Army to develop a comprehensive strategy to deal with adverse situations.

The Prime Minister of AJK placed his health and SDMA alert to deal effectively with the difficulty that resulted and the injury of local residents after the ongoing shelling of civilians in India.

He also instructed the government in the affected areas to immediately pay a fee to the owners of the houses destroyed in the shelling in India.

Raja Farooq Haider advised the Secretary of State for Disaster Relief to pay attention to the development of the CFL and to immediately help the affected population.

The Prime Minister called the unjustified shelling of India a weak act of co, which he strongly condemned, saying it was inhumane to focus on innocent people and their property, and India was responsible.
