Lahore: The Federal Cabinet has approved the inclusion of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal in the export control list of the Nalovar Sports City case through the distribution of abstracts (ECL).
In accordance with the requirements of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), the Ministry of the Interior has included the names of PML-N leaders on the no-fly list.
In December 2020, Ahsan Iqbal was sued in the Narowal Sports Complex.
It is to be mentioned here that the anti-graft watchdog had alleged the PML-N leader of illegally initiating a project of Rs 3 billion in Narowal and causing a loss worth billions to the national exchequer.
NAB claims to have received complaints that the construction cost of Narowal Sports City is approximately Rs 6 billion, which is against the rules.
