Lahore: On January 7, an accountability court in Lahore personally convened the leader of the National Assembly opposition party and Shehbaz Sharif, president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
AC Judge Amjad Nazir gave a written order. The court stated that Shehbaz Sharif remained absent from the Ashiana-e-Iqbal housing crash that affected the procedure.
The court gave the opposition leader a last chance to ensure his presence at the next session. It should be mentioned here that ten suspects, including Shehbaz Sharif, were charged in the case.
