Srinagar: Authorities in the occupied region of Kashmir revealed that 2,157 people, including travelers who have been in contact with the suspected halo virus, are under surveillance in the country.
Indian media reported that 1,829 people were under family isolation, 29 under hospital isolation and 131 under family surveillance.
The report also noted that 101 samples have so far been sent for testing, 87 of which were negative and only 2 positive. 12 cases have yet to be reported.
At the same time, 168 people completed the 28-day surveillance period.
