Karachi: The cause of the truck accident on the M-9 highway near Karachi is said to be a white Cultus car. Twenty-four hours later, a picture of a car without a hood surfaced.

There was a serious accident in a van from Hyderabad to Karachi on Saturday night. According to investigators, the hood of the variant car driving on the M-9 blew up and hit the van, causing the car to tip over and catch fire.

Highway police tracked down the vehicle that allegedly caused the accident. Soon after the crash, CCTV footage showed a white Cultus car passing the toll gate, but the hood was missing.

The authorities are collecting information about the owner of the vehicle, which can be seen in the video footage, and appears to have been parked at the toll plaza to pay the toll tax.

The 14 unidentified bodies killed in this tragedy have been transferred from Abbas Shahid Hospital to Eddie Morgue.

All the bodies will be handed over to the next of kin after DNA report. Another person injured in the crash died during treatment at the Burn Ward. The dead man was identified as 25-year-old Abdul Rashid son of Hussain Gul, bringing the death toll to 15.
