Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Wednesday that after the coldest morning of the season and the sharp drop in temperature last week, the weather will change for the better as the metropolis may experience cold weather in the next 24 hours. .
The lowest temperature recorded last night was 10 degrees Celsius, and Karachi may experience cold and dry weather in the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department stated that the temperature is expected to drop further on December 16.
According to reports, the west wind sweeping through Pakistan’s weather system is expected to cause rain and snow in the mountains.
On the other hand, Azad Kashmir and Karam started a series of rain and snow.
The coldest place in the country in the past 24 hours was Ziarat with a temperature of -10°C, followed by Layyah at -8°C, Gopis at -7°C, Kalat and Skardu at -6°C, and -3 Gilgit (Gilgit) °C, Quetta -2°C, Peshawar -1°C.
In Islamabad, the lowest temperature was -2°C, while in Lahore and Sukkur, it was recorded as 6°C.
