Karachi: Police said on Tuesday that the two arrested suspects have admitted to sexually assaulting and killing a six-year-old girl. The girl’s body was later found in a garbage dump in the city’s Esa Nagri. The case caused an uproar in the society. media.
After rescuers raped and murdered the six-year-old child on the evening of September 6, the rescuers packed his body into a brie (sack) and at least 11 suspects were detained.
The police said that the administrative judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court was told that the two had pleaded guilty to heinous crimes and were still waiting for the DNA test report of the third suspect who claimed to be innocent.
Therefore, the judge sent all three suspects (Faiz (alias Faizu), Abdullah, and Nawaz) to police custody until September 26, and ordered the Ombudsman (IO) Inspector Qurban Abbasi to submit a progress report.
According to reports, the six-year-old girl disappeared on September 4 after going to a nearby store in the old Sabzimandi area to buy sweets in the morning. Two days later, her body was found, put in a bag, and placed in a garbage dump in a nearby dairy complex.
Inspector Abbasi said the police had collected the pieces of cloth used to tie the victim’s body. After discussing the collected evidence with local shopkeepers and street vendors, the tailor determined the fabric and said that it had been handed over to the employee Faiz.
Repeat offender, living nearby
During the pre-screening of the suspect, the police found that he was a repeat offender and lived alone in several houses not far from the children’s residence on the same street. Faiz revealed the name of his accomplice Abdullah, who lived on a path in the area after being detained.
According to the press service, the suspect informed the police that they kidnapped the underage girl and took it to his home, then raped her one by one and caused her death. Then they covered her body with a cloth, put her on the garbage truck, and threw it on the conspiracy.
Once Faiz’s statement was recorded, the police detained Abdullah and he also confessed to the crime.
The court approved IO’s request to detain the suspect for another eight days for DNA testing and compilation of fingerprint reports and criminal records.
The PIB colonial police station registered the first information under Section 364-A (Kidnapping of persons under the age of 14), 302 (Premeditated murder), 376 (Rape), 201 (Disappearing evidence or providing false information) Report (FIR), Article 34 (Common Intent), and Article 7 (Punishment) of the Anti-Terrorism Act.

Earlier, Dr. Zakia Khursheed, a medical examiner (MLO) at Jenna Hospital in Karachi, confirmed that the girl had been raped before her death.
Dr. Khursheed said that someone hit her on the head with a heavy object and killed her, adding that a sample had been taken from the dead body for further investigation and testing.
Residents in the area had previously stated that the child’s physical condition indicated that she was severely burned. Authorities stated that her father filed a missing person report at the PIB police station.
