Karachi: At least 3 people were electrocuted due to heavy rains hitting Karachi, and one fell into the drain.

The third heavy rain in Karachi has flooded the low-lying areas, while Surjani Town, Clifton, Gadap Town, Garden Town, Federal District B and Jamshed Road have also been flooded.

More than 300 K-electric feeders also tripped, causing power outages in Gulshan Iqbal, Liaquatabad, North Karachi, Landhi and Buffer Zone.

The Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Shibli Faraz (Shibli Faraz) criticized the Sindh provincial government led by the Pakistan People’s Party for the continuous rains causing severe damage in the metropolis.

The minister visited the social media site and said: “Although Karachi was flooded by heavy rain, Niro is celebrating his birthday.”

He said that the leaders of the PPP party said that democracy is the best revenge, and they are taking revenge from those who voted for them the third time.

PMD expects more rain

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain-wind-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper Punjab, Lower Balochistan, lower Sindh, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.

Most parts of the country are expected to be hot and humid.
