Three people were killed and 11 injured in an explosion in an interior cabin of a warship at the Mumbai Navy Yard, according to reports.
According to sources at least three navy officials have died in the blast onboard Indian Navy destroyer INS Ranvir on Tuesday. And also the reports reveal that 11 navy personnel were also injured.
“In an unfortunate incident today at Naval Dockyard Mumbai, three naval personnel succumbed to injuries caused by an explosion in an internal compartment onboard INS Ranvir,” stated the Indian Navy.
The Indian Navy further added that a frivolous investigation has been ordered to investigate the cause of the explosion.
