Those who support corruption should not be spared: PM Imran

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that those who support corruption should not be spared.

He said it during a meeting with members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) who visited him in Islamabad on Thursday.

During the meeting, Imran Khan told PAC members that it was necessary to raise issues related to corruption.

He asked senior politicians to expose the corruption of the previous government, adding that anyone who supported corruption should not give in.

The Prime Minister also urged PAC members to expose anyone who tried to cover up corruption and asked not to back down on anti-corruption policies.

He also instructed PAC members to put corruption under the rule of law.

According to sources, government members among the members of the CPPCC stated that the bureaucracy is not serious on the issue of corruption.
