ISLAMABAD: The textile industry is witnessing a boom regardless of COVID-19, thanks to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s pro-industrial policies, said Farrukh Habib, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting.
In a tweet on Wednesday, he said textile exports in January remained at $1.55 billion, up 17 percent.
He said total textile exports in the first seven months of the fiscal year reached $10.93 billion, up 25 percent.
