Karachi: A terrorist with banned clothing was killed in an exchange of fire with the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi on Tuesday.
According to details, the CTD conducted a raid in Musharraf Colony area of Karachi on an intelligence-based report during which terrorists hiding in the area opened fire. The law-enforcement agency personnel returned the fire during which one terrorist was arrested in injured condition.
The injured terrorist was shifted to hospital where he died during treatment. According to in charge CTD, the dead terrorist was identified as Saeed Lohar and belonged to banned outfit Al Qaeda.
CTD officials also recovered a bag containing two improvised explosive devices (IED) from the killed terrorists, which was then distributed by the bomb disposal team.
