Karachi: To curb the increasing incidence of coronavirus in the country, this is another desperate attempt: Sindh Province is preparing to introduce an extensive blockade of the province on Friday from noon to 3:00 PM.
The source said the county government has decided to introduce a comprehensive blockade on Friday from noon to 3pm, and has also decided to limit large gatherings during Friday prayers.
After consultation with Ulemas, the provincial government led by the Pakistani People’s Party decided to block the blockade to prevent people from gathering inside the mosque.
All stores and business centers will also remain closed during the lockout period. The government has also decided to take strict action against offenders.
