Karachi: The Sindh provincial government will hold a meeting today (Sunday) to decide to relax the provincial blockade implemented after preventing the spread of coronavirus.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah expressed great concern about the sudden increase in new coronavirus cases in the province, because 20% of the tests were positive.
He told us that 531 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, 104 of which were positive. He added that in Sindh province, 13 people have recovered from the virus.
On the other hand, the government ordered the complete closure of 11 trade union councils in the provincial capital due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus throughout the province.
In Sindh, the number of coronavirus cases is increasing rapidly, so the government has ordered the complete closure of the city ’s 11 trade union councils. All sealed UCs are part of Karachi East.
East Hamid ur Rehman (East Hamid ur Rehman) Deputy Director issued an order to seal 12 UC. As a result, entry and exit from these areas will be prohibited, which will be enforced by wanderers and police.
The Deputy Commissioner said that UC-6 Gilani Railway, UC-7 Damia, UC-8 Jamali Colony, UC-9 Gulshan 2, UC-10 Pehlwan Goth, UC-12 Gulzar Hijri, UC- 13 Safoora, UC. Faisal Kant (UC 2 Manzoor Colony) should be completely closed.
Hamid ur Rehman also said that UC-9 Jacob Line and UC-10 Jamshed Quarters will also be closed.
