Karachi: The Sindh provincial government has ended the wise blockade of 39 Karachi Union Commissions (UCs) at midnight at 12:00 (the evening between Thursday and Friday).

According to Commissioner Karachi, from now on, it will follow the health consultation of the provincial health department and implement smart locking in the city.

With the increase of coronavirus cases in these areas, a 15-day smart lock was implemented in various trade union councils in all areas of Karachi on June 19.

On a case-by-case basis, Sindh is still the province most affected by the pandemic, followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balluchi. To date, 86,795 coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in Sindh Province, and 1,404 people have been killed in the province.
