ISLAMABAD: The Meteorological Department advises that high pressure may control the upper atmosphere. As a result of this high pressure, daytime temperatures are likely to gradually increase across much of the country starting Sunday.

According to the details, daytime temperatures in Upper Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are likely to remain above normal at 07-09°C.

Daytime temperatures are likely to remain above normal at 06-08°C in Upper and Central Sindh, Central and Southern Punjab and parts of Balochistan.

The MET office has advised the public to avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight and calls for judicious use of water in all aspects of life to keep away from heat waves.
