Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah told the public on Thursday that seven members of a family in Karachi City were infected with the new coronavirus.
The chief minister said in the video that initially, one person in the family went out to get infected. The disease then spread to other members of the family, including a one-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl.

He urged people who traveled to collect ration bags or cash distributed by the government, take precautions, and conduct social alienation.
He also said that in the past 24 hours, there have been 92 new cases in the province and 69 people have recovered. Another person died.
He said that 1380 pilgrims had arrived in Sindh, and 1108 pilgrims were negative. He said that even so, they were quarantined for 14 days and only returned home yesterday.
At present, there are 1 128 positive cases in Sindh Province, 349 of which have recovered.
He said that lifting the blockade will take some time, and once lifted, various industries and enterprises will have to ensure that preventive measures are taken.
