Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) on Friday has ordered Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani to surrender before National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

According to detailed information, the three seats of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial accepted a petition from the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) seeking bail before arrest.

On this occasion, Durani expressed the hope that he can get justice from SC.

Earlier, after the Sindh High Court (SHC) refused bail, a NAB team raided the speaker’s residence but failed to arrest him due to resistance from his guards.

It is worth mentioning that NAB approved an investigation into Durrani’s various allegations of corruption in July 2018.
