Karachi: The Karachi Registry of the Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the federal government to take action against K Electric’s unfair discharge in Karachi.
The Supreme Court stated in its order that K Electric’s unloading procedures in Karachi were unfounded. One cannot blame the whole place for one person not paying the bills and instruct the federal government to take action against the unfair KE sale.
The court also asked the federal government to develop a comprehensive plan to supply Karachi with electricity. The next trial of the case has been confirmed and will be heard in the Supreme Court of Islamabad in two weeks.
