Rupee snaps losing streak, recovers by over Re1 against USD

Karachi: The rupee ended its losing streak against the US dollar on Monday and rose more than Re1 in intraday trading.

So far, the local currency has appreciated by 1.23 rupees. Compared with the closing price of 175.73 on the previous working day, the trading price of the U.S. dollar is about 174.50.

On Friday, the domestic currency depreciated by 1.54 rupees compared with the dollar exchange rate of the previous day.
