Karachi: On Tuesday, in the interbank market, the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee fell by 37 paisa against the US dollar, compared to the last closing price of 160.37 rupees, closing at 160.74 rupees.
However, according to the Pakistan Foreign Exchange Association, the exchange rate of the US dollar on the open market is 160.5 rupees and 161.5 rupees, respectively.
The National Bank of Pakistan reported that in the interbank interbank lending transaction, the exchange rate of the euro against the US dollar rose by 2.30 rupees to close at 175.58 rupees, while the last day’s transaction price was 173.28 rupees.
The yen exchange rate stabilized at 1.49 rupees, while the pound exchange rate rose by 2.56 rupees, compared with 194.04 rupees in the previous trading day, its exchange rate was 196.60 rupees.
The exchange rates of the Saudi Riyal and the United Arab Emirates Dirham have increased by 08 Paisa and 10 Paisa, respectively, at Rs 42.77 and Rs 43.76.
