Punjab CM lifts ban on closure of markets at 9 PM

By

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has lifted a ban on closing shops and markets in Punjab after 9pm.

It should be noted that to save electricity in the province, traders were instructed to close the market after 9pm. The ban was lifted after finding no noticeable change in power saving after this step. Therefore, CM Punjab allows traders to work after 9pm.

Shops, malls, bakeries, grocers and tire shops will remain open until late after Punjab CM’s order.

The decision was made by the Punjab CM during a meeting with traders.
