Islamabad: Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a bearish trend on Tuesday. The KSE 100 index closed at 41,985.19 points, compared with 42,295.75 points in the previous business day, a negative change of 310.56 points (0.73%).
The total trading volume of the previous trading day was 884,370,174 shares, while the trading volume of the previous day was 748,896,769 shares, while the value of the stocks traded on that day was 279.30 billion rupees and the previous trading day was 23.684 billion rupees.
As many as 431 companies trade stocks on the stock market, of which 120 companies recorded gains and 293 continued to lose money, while the stock prices of 18 companies remained unchanged.
The top three companies are Haskell Gasoline, which has 134,038,500 shares at a price of Rs 23.15 per share and is located in North Point. The bulk trading volume was 66,005,500 shares at a price of 13.22 rupees; Power Cement trading volume was 58,050,000 shares at a price of 10.85 rupees.
The highest record of Rafhan MaizeXD was Rs 250 per share, closing at Rs 8,550, while the highest price of Jubile Life Ins XD was Rs 32.18 per share, closing at Rs 473.58. VolgatePalm’s biggest drop was 145.43 rupees per share to close at 3,454.57 rupees, while Island Textile’s share price fell 65.29 rupees to close at 96.21.2 rupees.
