PSX loses 281.70 points to close at 46,348.18 points


Islamabad: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) KSE 100 index fell 281.70 points, or 0.60%, to close at 46,348.18 points on Thursday, compared with 46,629.88 points on the last working day.

A total of 269,512,154 shares were traded that day, compared with 320,334,452 shares the previous day’s trading volume, and the stock price was 94.88 billion rupees, compared with 106.54 billion rupees the previous day.

352 companies are trading on the stock market, of which 95 are profitable, 232 continue to lose money, and the stock prices of 25 companies remain unchanged.

The top three trading companies are Ghani Glo Hol with a trading volume of 30,213,500 shares at a price of Rs 32.19 per share, Service Fabrics with a volume of 20,520,000 at a price of Rs 12.09 per share, and Telecard Limited XB with a volume of 14,298,000 at a price of Rs 18.97 per share. Share.

Wyeth Pak Ltd’s highest increase was 110.68 rupees per share to close at 1,586.43 rupees, and the runner-up was Sapphire Tex, whose stock price rose 75 rupees to 1,230 rupees.

Unilever FoodsXD’s stock had the lowest drop of 1414 to close at 18,399, followed by Colgate Palm, whose share price fell 46.23 rupees to close at 2568.50 rupees.
