ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) KSE 100 index fell 195.06 points, or 0.45%, to 43,481.50 on Thursday, compared with 43,676.56 in the previous working day.
Trading volume on the day was 621,216,462 shares, compared with 607,995,986 shares in the previous session, and the share price was at Rs 1,049.6 crore, compared with Rs 1,112.9 crore in the previous session.
A total of 347 companies traded on the stock market, of which 128 rose, 200 lost money and 19 remained unchanged.
The top three trading houses were WorldCall Telecom with 170,780,000 shares traded at Rs 1.44 per share; Cnergyico Pk with 62,882,450 traded at Rs 5.85 per share; K-Electric Ltd with 58,046,000 traded at Rs 3.47 per share rupee.
Bata (Pak) topped Rs 54.89 per share to close at Rs 2,000, while the runner-up was Gatron Ind., which climbed Rs 56.58 to Rs 381.35.
Rafhan Maize was the biggest loser at Rs 539.99 per share at Rs 9,660.01, followed by Sanofi-Aventis, which fell Rs 79 to close at Rs 1,461.
