Islamabad: On Friday, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a bearish trend. The KSE 100 index closed at 33,438.95 points, compared with 33,539.85 points on the previous working day, with a negative change of 100.9 points (0.3%).
The total transaction volume was 105,898,021 shares, while the previous day’s transaction was 216,225,176 shares, and the value of the stock traded on the day was Rs. 3.328 billion, compared with Rs. 64.64 billion in the previous trading day.
As many as 319 companies trade stocks on the stock market, of which 83 companies recorded gains and 215 continued losses, while the stock prices of 21 companies remained unchanged.
The three companies with the largest trading volume are K-Electric Ltd with a trading volume of 9,130,500 shares at a price of Rs 2.91 per share, Unity Foods Ltd with a trading volume of 7,256,500 and a price of 11.61 Rs per share, as well as Al-Falah Bank The transaction price is Rs 11.61. 5,760,737 and the price of 33.10 rupees per share.
Premier Suger’s highest increase was 23.55 rupees per share, closing at 338.24 rupees, while Suger ranked second with an increase of 11.05 rupees per share, closing at 1217.33 rupees.
Sapphire Tex’s highest decline was 54.99 rupees per share, closing at 735.01 rupees, while Wyeth Pharmaceuticals’ share price fell 30 rupees to close at 890 rupees.
