Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) showed a bullish trend on Tuesday. The KSE 100 index closed at 32,553.39 points, which was 238.82 points (0.74%) from 32,314.57 points on the previous working day.

A total of 159,413,248 shares were traded, compared with the previous day’s trading volume of 122,282,110 shares, while the value of stocks traded on the same day was Rs 58.35 crore compared to Rs 53.33 crore on the previous trading day.

As many as 325 companies have traded on the stock market, of which 174 companies have realized gains, and 129 have suffered sustained losses, while the stock prices of 22 companies have remained unchanged.

The top three companies by volume are: Maple Leaf, with a total share capital of 36,232,500 shares and a price of Rs 25.95 per share; Unity Foods Ltd, with a total share capital of 20,561,000 shares and a price of Rs 10.94 per share; Punjab Bank, with a total share capital of Rs 7,887,000 And the price per share is Rs 25.95. Rs8.51.

Unilever Foods XD’s highest gain was Rs 333.33 per share, closing at Rs 8,500, and Nestle Pakistan XD ranked second with an increase of Rs 232 per share, closing at Rs 5,780.

The largest drop in sapphire fiber was 51 rupees per share, and the closing price was 651 rupees, while Baxter’s price fell 43.33 rupees per share, and the closing price was 1663.43 rupees.
